To display column name only even table has data

if u want to know the column name of table event it has data..

write this query..

set fmtonly on

select * from table_name ...

set fmtonly off

Example:

select * from student;

FMTONLY:

Returns only metadata to the client. Can be used to test the format of the response without actually running the query.
